I am looking for the family of Cecilia Love (married William Lane ~1660 in ?Lancaster? Pa. Unfortuantly, I am not finding her family in Pa around that time (or any Love's)
Today I saw a old message from Russ Bralley indicateing there were Love's in Cecil, Maryland about that time.. and just across the state line is Cecil County MD (named after Cecilius Calvert, governer from 1632 - 1675).
now.. it seems possible that if she was the 3rd or 4th (or later) daughter.. Mom and Dad might have been looking for a name for her and Cecil(ia) seems to fit the bill..
Does anyone know information on the early maryland Love's ?? or where information might be found?
maybe a bit of imaginitive thinking.. but it's paid off before ;)
