I'm searching for my branch of the Love family which goes back to Virginia. My ggg grandfather James Love was born in Ohio in 1822 and then removed to Illinois in 1848 where he died near Bloomington in 1896. His father is listed as being born in VA according to census information given by James Love. Where in VA? Good question. Where in Ohio was James born? That's also the question I'm hoping to get when his death certificate arrives in the mail that I'm waiting for.

Most Loves seem to have been in the south, NC, TN, TX and also VA. I seem to be the only person looking for Love's in Illinois (then they went to Iowa in 1900). Does Ohio or Illinois figure into what you're searching for? Hopefully, I'll have some answer as far as VA is concerned soon.
