Col. David Love was a son of John and Sarah ? Love. David born 1740 in Ireland and died 30 Nov 1848 in Greene Co., GA. He married Jean Blewett (my surname line), a dau. of William and Sarah Garton Blewett. Jean born c1756 near Blewett Falls, NC and died c1811 in GA. Col. Love's 1798 will mentions children Robertus, Josephus, Achsah, Vartus Mary, Beloved, Chaste Ester, Allelujah, Ovid Blewett, and Friend Ovid Love.

Vartus Mary Love, b. 24 Jun 1783, married Boswell Turner in Greene county, GA on 8 June 1801. No known children. Chaste Ester, Vartus' sister, was b. 16 Oct 1788, and married Abner Turner. No known children.
