Rachel Fair;b.Feb1856,NC m.William Gossom from VA.They settled in Glasgow,Barren Co,KY. Gossom died and the children were split up. Several were raised by the Love family. Rachel moved with three children to Louisville where she married a McGonigle. The children who kept the Gossom name were:
Lizzie, b.Nov1886;Lettie b.11-2-1890 and Dackey b.May,1892.
The parents of Rachel were Lady Gray who married a full blooded Cherokee named Fair.
The children raised with the Love name were:John and Jim. John had two girls. Jim fathered John,Bob,Lon,Sally and Haley (in that order).
