I know of a James Love founder of Love Methodist Church in what was Stokes Co. then now Walkertown, Forsythe Co., NC. Founded church in 1795. It is believed that his son ins the founder of Love Methodist Church Martin Co, Perry township, Ind. founded around 1820. His name was John Newton Love.
It is suspected that a James Vanhoy of Stokes Co, NC around 1800 married a Frances Love. Willing to share & exchange info
