Do you have anything on a Mr. Lucas that was killed on his farm in Giles Co. VA by a renegade after the Civil War. His wife Ellen brought 7 children over the mountains to what is now Culloden, WV. Don't know this Mr. Lucas's first name. it may have been GEorge.
I have info on all their children. Ms. Ellen Lucas later married a Caldwell / Cauldwell in Cabell Co. VA.
