I have copy of John's will. He does not actually say that Charles is deceased nor does he give Alse Archdeacon and Ann Moss the title of "Mrs." He does mention a Winefred Lucas the daughter of Charles. One might assume that Charles was deceased from that but she could have just been a favorite. I have wondered if there may not have been another son, William. Could John be the son of William of Brunswick?
