Elizabeth : I am told Martha was a dau of Joseph Goad of Lawrence County, Tenn.(likely son of Nancy). Also that Emiline was her sister (??) Emiline died in 1851 giving birth to Joshua. The 1870 census has a J.A.Lucas, age 18. The #@**# census-taker used only initials for the children.(eleven of them). No female starts with the letter "R".I am also told George was in Lawrence County in 1860. I research primarily the Goads. -- Ken Haas
