Second follow-up Heather: I forgot why I was thanking you. You have provided the link between Annabelle's Lucas family and the Green side of my family. The sister of your Samuel Lucas, b. 1812, Brooke County, VA (WV) was named Eliza Lucas, b. 1806, same place, and married William Evans Green. The listing I had of the children of Philip Lucas and Elizabeth Cunningham did not have any wife or children for Samuel. The listing I have quotes an obituary for Philip Sr., who died near Wellsburg, WV in 1854. It states that he was born in Baltimore and that "His father was the Rev. Thomas Lucas, a pioneer minister in the M.E. (Methodist Episcopal) church." I hope this will be of help to you. Kaye Richey
