I know that your posting is old, but I think that I might have a connection to your Lucas. I am trying to track down John Lucas. He is my gggrandfather. His son Nicholas was born in Coal City, IL (Grundy Co.) 1892. I have Nicholas's death cert and it states parents John Lucas and ? Verne. I think that this might have something to do with your Lawerence. Please e-mail me to let me know if this sounds right. i know that John had at least three other sons, Frank, George, and Thomas.
