Goolman/Gulman Lucas b: abt. 1822 VA

I am looking for any information on a Goolman/Gulman (other spellings?)Lucas b: 1822 in Virginia who came to Estill co, KY aboout 1854. His family is:
Mary, 38
Jesse, 18
John F., 16
Mary, 14
Nancy, 13
Sarah, 10
Robert, 8
Elendar, 6
Anna, 2

In the 1860 Estill co. census he is living in Proctor and has the following children living with him:
John Lutes, 11
samuel, 8
Sarah, 5
William, 3
Curtis, 1

The parents of these Lutes children are living nearby.
Goolman Lucas is not in the 1870 estill census. Did he go back to VA? Where did he live in VA?
