I have LEY/ LUCAS ancestors who migrated from Ireland to Australia in 1833. The mother of the family was Eliza/ Elizabeth Lucas,(poss parents William and Mary Lucas) and her LEY children born 1813-1827 some in Monaghan, Ireland had names such as Theophilus Clements,Edward Lucas,Charles Robert,William Richard, Emily, Clara, Olivia and Mary.
Her husband Francis LEY is described as a gentleman and farmer, and eldest son William Richard as a farmer (age 19)
I note that Theophilus Lucas-Clements lived in Monaghan and was looking for a possible link to my family. Is there anyone out there related to Theophilus who can help.
