I too would love to find some of my Lucas family. Something to look at... My greatgrandmother was Fannie Lucas(died 1946), married to Matthew Gregorich. The resided around the Cleveland area mostly I believe. Fannie had sisters. When I looked them up on marriage applications, and other documents I found that they spelled there names (at least they were listed this way) all diferently. Aunt Bertha was spelled Lukes, Aunt Mary(married name Benes) was Lukac. Just a side note-on the Ellis Island manifests I found my grandfathers(Koren) by mistake. When they listed her-they tranlated her name to be Koven, not Koren. I believe this to be the handwritting of the day. Such as not crossing "t's" at the end of a word etc...If you have any connections I would love to hear of them.
