Lucas,
What information do you have re: the death of John Lucas b. 1799. You state that he died in 1870 of pneumonia.
I ask this as John is my gggrandfather. John Lucas b. 1799->Joseph Clayton->Pleasant John Andrew-->William Clayton Lucas (my grandfather). I have seen the same census records that most people are familiar with, the La then AK (with Marey Lucas) then Fannin County, Tx.
I am trying to find more on John Lucas. Exactly when he died, and was it intestate? Any wills or probate records? or orphans records?
Any help would be appreciated. I can also provide any information on my side of this family, if you so desire.
