I seek to identify all the issue of the union between Zachariah H. LUCAS, Jr. and Nancy A. SHELBY. Zachariah and Nancy were married December 5, 1853 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. Nancy was the daughter of David and Deborah [HUTCHISON/HUDSON]SHELBY. She was born June 28, 1838 in Breckinridge County, KY, and died August 21, 1896 in Parke County, IN. To date, I have identified only three of their offspring: William Thomas LUCAS, born Nov. 3, 1854 in Parke County, IN; Joshua E. LUCAS, born Oct. 29, 1857 in Parke Colunty, IN; and Lydia A. LUCAS, born Sept. 18, 1871 in Parke County, IN. I have a bit more data about these three issue. One person has suggested that there were 12 children in all. I also want to learn the ancestry of Zachariah H. LUCAS. Please contact me if you can add to the list of children and/or identify the lineage of this Zachariah LUCAS. I have extensive data concerning this SHELBY lineage which I will share.
