It is always very nice to hear from another Lucas family member. You have the right Emanuel Todd Lucas. Charlotte was Emanuel's first wife and James R Lucas was one of their children. Emanuel was my GG Grandfather but married to his second wife Emaline (Tyree) Lucas. My Grandfather was one of their children, Jesse Lucas. There are several of us that are trying to piece our past family history together and have come a long way but are still missing some key pieces. We always ask if you have any old records or pictures that might clear the family line up. It looks like Manuel Lucas was Emanuel's father but we are still looking for any records to confirm it. Most of the country people from this period could not read or write so there are few records to follow. If you like you can write directly to my email address.
