Charles and William Lucas, Newton County, GA -- Please Help!

I'm looking to confirm the father of Charles Lucas, born in 1784, and father of William Lucas, born 07 Jul 1812. Both show up in Newton County, GA in the 1850 Census. Charles wife was Nancy West, born 1788. I've been told that Charles Father was William Lucas, who was a Revolutionary War soldier.
