In 1870 in Carter Co., Ky., Parker and Susannah Lucas were neighbors of James and Nancy Bryson. Parker's son John Lucas married James' daughter Amanda (Nancy) Bryson in 1873. In 1870 Parker's daughter Susan Lucas married James Bryson, jr.
In about 1873, James Bryson, jr., died of cholera. Does anyone know if James and Susan (Lucas) Bryson had any children? And what became of Susan?
In about 1875-76, John Lucas died; he and Amanda had 2, possibly 3 children. In 1880, two of these Lucas children, William Lucas and Mary Jane? Lucas were living with Amanda's sister Sarah Bryson Morris. Does anyone know anything about these Lucas children?
