My greatgrandfather was N. H. Lund who came to the United States from Denmark in 1818. He was married to Mary Hauk and in some sources, Annie R. as a second spouse.

He had three sons. Henry, born in 1858; Charles, born in 1860 and Alfred, who was my grandfather, born in 1863.

They were born in St. Angars, Iowa. I was unable to trace it back any further. I am going to try some more but this is what I have now. My Grandfather moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and married Olive Marion Mitchell. Six of their seven children were born here.
