Dear Stephanie, the Olaus you found in that tree is our guy.BUt, as you said before, he seems to be just dangling out there, however in the 1910 census Orris Lund is his daughter and she married into that tree.So thats how he fits into that particular tree.I found another site, in English, for those Norwegian census and parish records: The Norwegian Historical Data Center at www.rhd.uit.no/folketellenger.Checked it out and its pretty good. Still didnt find Olaus. He also changed his last name to Lund when he came to America(sometime between 1880 and 1883) so that complicates things.. And you are correct, the 1875 census and parish records are not complete.I will be putting out more posts on the different forums, see what I get. Thanks for your help again.
Vishi
