Jim, do you know the national origin of your paternal line? My earliest known Lynn/Linn ancestor lived in Franklin Co, PA beginning in 1788 and handed down to his offspring that they had come from Ireland but had their roots in Scotland.

My brother Milton Lynn has participated in a 37-marker Y-DNA study, and we're awaiting the last of the results. Would you be willing to compare results?
