Hi Jim. Thank you for your interest and for telling me about joining ysearch.org. I probably should ask Milton if he'd like to be the one to do it since he did the DNA test. He doesn't have quite the time that I do, but he may still prefer to do it himself. Joining ysearch.org probably should wait anyway since we're still waiting for the last set of markers. In the meantime, though, I'm going to e-mail you the markers we do have. If you have a moment, perhaps you could send yours in return. I'm just a bit too eager.

Honestly, I have enjoyed tracking the paper trail, but DNA is a perfect way to confirm and extend it.

I have to tell you there must be more than one Milton Lynn doing the DNA. Our known line, recorded by the great-grandson of our immigrant ancestor, begins with my 2nd-great-grandfather Hugh Linn (1753-1815) and Sarah Widney (1757-1810) and continues through John Linn (1778-1845) and Jane Van Scyoc (1780-1854) and Hugh Linn (1808-1881) and Mary Ann Saylor (1814-1892) to my great-grandfather Alexander Lee Linn (1858-1900) and Elizabeth Jane Danner. My grandfather changed the spelling of our name from Linn to Lynn.
