Thanx to the discovery of some documents-a marriage license for Henry Lynn and Mary Perrin (found by Loretta)
I have more information for my paternal grandfather-Henry Landis Lynn.
His father is listed as James W Linn/Lynn born about 1839 Ohio, and his mother is Margaret Francis Byers born 08Sep1839 Ohio.
In the 1911 marriage license it lists Henry as 25.
Also found a document where Henry enlisted in the Canadian Military that lists his birth date as 20Aug1884--BUT-- it also states he was born in Ontario, Canada! I believe Henry was a scoundrel, because Mary Perrin was born Canada, and a couple of Henry and Mary's children have Henry listed as born in Ohio. He might have been "hiding" from something/someone as the enlistment papers are dated 1918-shortly after him and Mary split up.
I can confirm this is Henry as it lists Henry's sister as Laura Wenz. In some of the census for Ohio I have found James, Margaret and Laura in the same family.
