He doesn't show in the usual military collections....there was a Richard B Mallory working for the Saratoga Springs Daily in Sarasota Springs NY 1889-90, and another Richard b c 1875 in Lenox Madison NY.
As mary e Covey Mallery (Mallory) is listed as a widow on the 1900 census...there are likely probate records in Chautauqua co.
I had looked for him several years ago with no luck.
Richard Burke Mallory c 1855 moved from Ct to Manhattan NY and had a couple of children by 1878, but I don't know what happened to him after that.
