I am interested in Horace Mallory (Horatio) b 17 Aug 1595 of papworth St Agnes and Little Barnesby who married 1629 on Bermuda Dorothy Forster. There seems to be a connection with Peter Mallory of New Haven Ct..... Dorothy's brother Thomas was on the same ship, The Truelove, with the Prestons (see below,) sailing from London in fall of 1635, stopping at Bermuda before continuing to Boston.

Horace was son of William Mallory c 1548 d 1611 of Papworth St Agnes and Little Barnsbye House, Bermondsey, Co Surrey and (1) 24 Jun 1578 Elizabeth Gregory d 1602) "

Among others, Cpt Horatio Mallory had a son Peter b 1640. Decendants of this family later removed to South Carolina.

I do believe Capt William Sayle (Searle) from Boston was one of the first governors of Bemuda. Peter Mallory of New Haven married Marie Preston who was on the Truelove with Thomas Forster. The Preston's stayed with Cpt Christopher Gibson in MA....Gibson had married Sarah Sayle, sister of Marie Preston's mother.
