Mallory,
Doug is a decsendant of Samuel Buffington, a brother of Franklin Buffington.
I am the oldest grandson of John Merry Buffington, the youngest son of Franklin Buffington and Sarah Mallory Buffington.
As far as Elizabeth Mallory's money, the story I heard was Stephan Mallory went back to Kentucky to collect Elizabeth's inheritance and never returned. He was thought to have went to Texas.
