About thirty-five of ORVILLE MARBLE's young friends gathered at his home five miles east of town on Friday evening, Feb. 4th, in honor of his l8th birthday. All the young ladies brought him a fine birthday cake which was served with peaches and oysters. They amused themselves until a late hour with plenty of music, and lots of fun. They all returned home quietly, thinking it was good to be there.
