I was able to find this information in response to your question. I am also sending this information to your e-mail address.

(Andrew Jenson, Latter-day Saint Biographical Encyclopedia: A Compilation of Biographical Sketches of Prominent Men and Women in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4 vols. [Salt Lake Cit 712.)
Marble, Samuel Harvey
p. 712
Marble, Samuel Harvey, one of the original pioneers of Utah, was born Oct. 6, 1822, at Phelps, Ontario Co., New York, a son of Nathaniel Marble. He joined the Church at Nauvoo, Ill., being baptized by Chester Loveland. After coming to Great Salt Lake Valley as one of the pioneers in July, 1847, he returned to Winter Quarters later the same year with Pres. Brigham Young. Having come back to the "Valley" he was called in 1849 as one of a company of nine men, in charge of Capt. A. L. Lamoreaux, to locate for a few months on Green river to ferry California and Oregon emigrants over the river, repair wagons and put up a blacksmith shop. Having located at Manti, Sanpete Co., he was elected a city councilman there in 1851 and was a member of the 23rd Quorum of Seventy in 1853. Later he moved to Round Valley, Apache Co., Arizona, where he died March 16, 1914, aged 92 years.

The Nathaniel Marble mentioned in this article is the grandson of Nathaniel Marble and Abigail Houghton.

My wife is a descendant of Samuel's brother William Lorenzo Marble.
