I am looking for any information that someone may have regarding the Markle families from Ulster & Dutchess County, NY. My grandfather was Chauncey Markle born in 1883 and was married to a Elizabeth Lawrence. They had 13 children and lived on a farm off of Kettlesboro Rd per the 1920 census. I am trying to find out what my great grandfathers name was but I am having trouble finding it. I was hoping that anyone who has the 1880 or 1890 census information from those counties might be able to help me out. Any information about the Markles just might help my search out. I am unfortunately unable to find out information from my family as my father passed away in 1991 and did not leave any family information behind.
