Hi Cyndi
I never knew my grandfather. All the info I have comes from a copy of my father's birth certificate that he was born 1859 in Pennsylvania. My father died 1988 and all his brothers and sisters passed before him.
The dates are close enough that he could be an older brother to Sarah.
Perhaps I should look in to my grandmother's background and see where that leads. I am very new to this but I will keep trying.
