The 2nd Markle Reunion will be held Aug. 7 (The First Sunday in August)2005 at the Dreibelbis Historic Farm located near Virginsville, Pa. Short distance from Moselem Springs. George Merckle's daughter married Jacob Dreibelbis and the reunion will be held on what was her homesite, now belonging to her distant grandson, Mark Dreibelbis. Mark bought the farm to save it from becoming another housing development and he is transforming the home into a museum with relics, many of them, from the past. There will be tours through the home the day of the reunion. I hope if you're related that you try to attend.
