Edward Markle born 1863 in Centre Co., PA.
Have heard that his parents were Jacob Markle and Elizabeth Halderman, but have not confirmed/documented the connection.
Edward married Anna Eliza Peters who was born in 1856 in Centre Co. to George Peters and Margaret Rishel.
Edward and Anna moved to Idaho by 1887, and had 7 children around the Ketchum mining area between 1887 and 1902:
Charles & Vernon tended sheep and mined in Idaho;
Floyd ran the genereal store in Stanley, ID;
George-Merle was a forest ranger in Stanley & Challis, ID;
Winifred & Dorothy married farmers Sherman and Still in MI;
Hazel married a farmer named Hart in WA state.
