Looking for information on the parents of Abigail Jane Markle (1824-1919) in Ulster County, NY. Abbie married James McDole of Ireland and had 12 kids/8 survived in Lackawack, NY. I recently received a copy of her death registration and it lists Cornelius Markle and Harriet Quick as her parents. It says both were born in Holland, but I think they were born in NY. I have found Cornelius and Harriet in the census records, but it looks like Harriet was only about 10 years older than Abigail. Can anyone help straighten this out? Thanks.
