I am looking for information on the father of Richard Markel born abt. 1913 in NY. (Possibly NYC) Richard's father was born in Ohio. Richard's mother was Hazel Johnston b. Jan. 1892 in NY. She was shown with her family on the 1900 New York City census, and was married by abt. 1910. Hazel's family had lived in Westfield , PA and Corning, NY. before moving to NYC. Richard Markel was shown living with his aunt Bessie Birchfield in Los Angeles CA on the 1930 census. Any information on the family of Hazel and her son Richard Markel/Markle would be greatly appreciated.
