I am looking for any information on Markle in Iowa. My husbands great grandfather was Abraham Markle. All information that we have is from the back of old family photos. He was a sherriff in Cedar rapids or council bluffs. He died around 1942 from a freak accident. Do not know wifes name. Have found the name Hoard on a few family photos. Believe he is buried in a cemetary in or near clarksville but do not know name. Please send any info if you can.
