I am searching for the parents/siblings/family of Sarah Mathena. The information I have for her is as follows:
Born: 1823, Putnam Co., MO (although this location is in doubt as their marriage was supposedly in 1845 in Knox Co., TN, and their only known child was born in OH. There are even online sources claiming she was born in Ireland)
Died: Dec. 19, 1920, Unionville, Putnam Co., MO
Married: George Fisher (b. 1822, Westmoreland Co., PA, d. May, 1902, Unionville, Putnam Co., MO)
Their known children are:
Sarah Ann Fisher (b. 1847, Paulding Co., OH, d. June 10, 1911, IA, m. John Henry McClard)
My family line descends through Sarah Ann. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding this family, specifically the ancestors and family of George Fisher and Sarah Mathena.
Finding Sarah Mathena's parents/family has been a real challenge. Please contact me if you have any information on this family line, or general information on the Mathena / Matheny family in early 1800's Missouri, Tennessee, Ohio, and/or Pennsylvania. I would love to hear from you!
