Birthday Part for Mary Louise Matheny
Miss Edna Roberts entertained with a surprise birthday party recently at her home on Sigler street in celebration of the twelfth birthday of her neice, Mary Louise Matheny. A color scheme of pink and white was carried out in the attractive decorations, and the serving table was centered with a large birthday cake. The cutting ot this was an interesting feature, and each guest made a wish for the honor guest as the candles were eztinguished.
Miss Roberts was assisted in the hospitality by her sister, Mrs. W. E. Matheny. Games and contest were enjoyed and prizes were awarded. Jane Shepherd and Helen Seaton.
The guest present were: Marie Roser, Jane Hudson, Annie Laurie Walters, Harriett Wimberly, Mary Claire Knight, Harriett Roberts, Helen Seaton, Jane Shepherd, Hermoine Smith, Margaret Ruth Shriver, Margaret Cohen and Sarah Frances Matheny.
