Lucy Matheny Prince Sanders b 1895 in Indep. Co Black River twp Ar. She died in 1992 buried in Peoria Ill where she lived most of her adult life.
Her father William D Matheny was b: 1866 or 1868 Tn
He married Sarilla Rosanna Anderson b: 1871 Ar d: 1906.
Wm D. never remarried & d: 1934 in Black River he is buried in Union Cem North of Cord Ar. Independence Co Ar.
My search has been looking in Weakley co Tn but cannot for sure place him or follow thru on him moving towards Ar.
Lucy's daughter remembers an uncle Bev Matheny, but looking at Bevley's census doesn't prove or dismiss that claim.
Any item above seem familiar?
