Dear Suzanne, Thank you for taking the time to answer. Since my "posting" I have gotten information that my greatgrandfather George Maxim was born in Austria and not Montana. And, the family moved about a lot. Possibly, this had to do with the "bootlegging" going on. As far as I know he was in Montana, Chicago, Michigan (only for about 3 months) & final destination & place of death was Pennsylvania. And, to make matters worse for me in my history seeking; sometime between my grandmothers birth-marriage the spelling of the name went from Maxim to Maksim. Is Maxim "French". My Aunt told me that she always was told this. Sincerely, Debbie Yates
