I have read almost every one of the postings for Blount Co. TN McClanahans but I have not found anything on my ancestor Jane McClanahan who married John Pannel Sept. 17, 1818. I thought that she may be related to Sarah McClanahan that married Hugh Kelso Feb. 22, 1816 and David -Polly Ingrum Sept. 28, 1818 since they were married around the same time. I am interested in Sarah McClanahan because she married Hugh Kelso, he has an unusual family name that Jane and John Pennel named one of their children: John Blackmore Hughes Pennel. John and Jane are on the 1830 and 1840 censuses in Monroe Co.TN. Jane was born apx. 1790 in Tennessee and died between 1840-1850. Any help with this is GREATLY APPRECIATED....
