I am looking for Family members in this area
anyone with Mary King, Walter, Jessie, Jean their Mother was Jessie Smaill and I can't find where I wrote down the Father's name.
and I'll update later with the rest of the family names. Walter died in London. He had daughters one of which was Betty who lived in London but I believe died in Glasgow in the 1995-7 time period. There was a sister named Violet but I don't know any last names and my Grandmother Lillian Kronquist passed away this year with no way to recover info now.
I was told the girls and a couple brothers came over from Scotland to Canada after one of the boys won money in a sweepstakes possibly. From there my Great Grandmother got preg. after the boys went home and the girls decided to stay. Through various means the Sisters ended up on an Island in WA called Marrowstone and then seperated around this area.
Anyone that can help thanks. I'll update as I get information.
I started to do some research while in Scotland and the gentleman doing it even had problems as the names didn't match birthdates he found and He said that a few times he found that McCormack and Buchanan seemed to be interchangeable on a few records that looked like they could be helpful. Has anyone else seen this happen??
