The Mary F. McGough who is listed as the 12 year old daughter of Henry McGough and Margaret Arnold McGough in the 1860 census of Moulton Township (Wapakonila P.O.) Auglaize county Ohio, is probably the Mary McGough who married Leonard Burris. She was born in Ohio. Mary (McGough) Burris and her mother, Margaret McGough, are both listed as living with Leonard Burris by the 1900 census of Clinton township (Mt. Vernon), Knox county, Ohio. Follow the links, and you can trace the ancestry of Mary McGough Burris back to Myles McGough, who was born in Ireland in about 1730. and his wife, Elizabeth Spencer.
