We have a James Mcgough born 1848 in Ireland moved to England and had 7 sons, James born 1873 also used surname Gough, Martin born 1876, Thomas born 1878, Michael born 1880, Leonard born 1884, William born 1886, Owen born 1888.I am trying to trace my Irish connections but get stuck due to lack of records in Ireland, i understand the McGough's left Ireland for America in the 1700's or early 1800's, James born 1848 is as far back as i can go any help will be appreciated.
