McGOWAN, MICHAEL KING, age 50, passed away Nov. 20, 2006. He resided in Browns Mills, NJ and Philadelphia for many years before moving to Seattle. Michael was the loving partner of the late Paul Slane. He was survived by his sisters Kathy Ulrich and Jane Wilson and brother Pat McGowan as well as five nieces, Amy, Heather, Heide, Hillary, and Nora and nephew Harry and four great nephews and nieces. Michael was a critical care nurse at Swedish Memorial Hospital in Seattle. He was beloved by all that knew him. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 at The Ethical Society Building Auditorium, 1906 S. Rittenhouse Square, S.W. corner, Philadelphia, PA from 7 to 9 P.M. A reception immediately following in the Assembly Room.
