James McNeal of North Towanda, Bradford Co. Pa.

James McNeal was the son of William "Billy" McNeal of North Towanda area, Bradford county Pa. After the Civil War he traveled to Missouri with his wife and son, to live near his brother Charles. He is buried at Olive Branch Cemetery in Syracuse, Missouri. He now has a tombstone given by our country due to his service in the War between the States. That stone has been set in place. His wife and son are buried next to him, but they have no stone. His direct line still live in the Missouri area around Syracuse,and in Western Missouri..............it's been along time coming, but in some circles.....it's not where you start, but where you finish..........
