Hello Sandra,
I have the Mcneel Family Record by Betsy Jordan Edgar.
It says about your Miriam that she was born 1776 and died dec. 8, 1857.
John was a native of County Down, Ireland. Came to America in 1783. He lost a hand while still a young man. He taught school for a while and arrived in Pocahontas County as a traveling merchant , dealing in portable merchandise. After marriage he settled on Millstone Run . Mirium and John aer buried in a graveyard of the Millrun Methodist church.
I have much more I can share with you.
