Hello Boyd,

Sorry I don't have any info on your Neil McNeil and Sarah Hargis. You have hit a similar problem that i have hit. My ancestor Robert McNeil was born 1797/98 in Scotland but I haven't been able to identify his parents yet but me and my cousins are closer then we were awhile back.

Have you tried FamilySearch for your Neil McNeil and Sarah Hargis?
