Hello Sandra, Thanks for the great information. I had some of those dates from the census of 1901 and they are often way off. Also, I was missing the first two children. Now the name Dougall is important in that it may give a clue as to Catherine's father's name. I wonder if this could be the family you are looking for. I suspect she was the younger Catherine. Both Catherines "Kates" are missing from the list of children for this couple in To the Hill of Boisdale. She page 778. They were with the family in 1871.
