Hi Sandra,
So you suspected this family all along? The other Catherine O'Handleys either married or stayed unmarried (I checked that the unmarried ones stayed so). You will have to find out where your contact got Dougall and Sarah as children of John and Catherine. I suspect this is a mix up with the other John MacNeil and Catherine O'Handley at Sydney Mines as their first two children were Dougal and Sarah born about the time for the two you have.
