Linda...We have spoken before,RE: Lord,Mcneil,etc..Ihave a question about Phebe Clemens and a Betsey Salsman in ur message of March 4 2007...I am a direct descendant of Sylvanus Lord and Elizabeth Blanchard Lord..A daughter of Sylvanus and Elizabeth was also an Elizabeth , b.1801 in Carlisle, NY, married a Thomas Salsman in 1819. Elizabeth Lord and Thomas Salsman had several children ,one a daughter,Mary Catherine Salsman b.23 Nov. 1823,Carlisle,NY married Christopher Clemens,b.1818..They married 20 June 1844 ( my gr,gr, grandparents)...I have a notion that the Phebe Clemens and Betsey Salsman some how are related to my Clemens and Salsman family...I am particulary interested in the Salsman family of the Carlisle, NY area...I have never found the genesis of this particular branch of the Salsman,Salzman,Saltsman family..By any chance do you have a clue?...thanks for reading and responding...George Clemens Campbell..Stuart,FL
